Vehicles are moved to special depollution bays within our workshops. These are fitted with interceptor drainage systems. This removes all possibility of ground contamination.

Our SEDA automated vehicle drainage system removes hazardous liquids including engine & gearbox lubricants, fuel, coolant, screen wash, brake & clutch fluids and oil filters. All batteries, wheels & tyres are removed, and sent to specialist recycling depots. Airbags and seatbelt pretensioners are now routine in most vehicles. These are removed and deployed under controlled conditions. Air conditioning systems are also commonplace. These systems contain CFC's which destroy the ozone layer if not properly disposed of. All CFC's are carefully removed and sent to specialists for further processing.

Church Road Motors aims to provide a first class service to those wishing to dispose of their end of life vehicle in an environmentally responsible way. When you contact us, you will be asked to provide the relevant paperwork including the V5 (logbook) and confirmation of your identity (Utility bill, passport, etc) The vehicle must not contain any refuse such as additional tyres or garden waste or additional disposal fee will be charged.

Church Road Motors will complete all your DVLA paperwork including V5, SORN Notification, DVLA-Certificate of Destruction.
